Q. Why Candy Canes?
A. Have you ever seen a yard with 100 canes standing in them? Have you ever seen the eyes of a kid when he/she wakes up and sees 100 canes in their front yard? Close your eyes…. that’s why.

Q. When do I cane?
A. It’s your party… you can cane when you want to. You can cane any time, but because they are more of a Christmas decoration, the best time is leading up to Christmas and through New Year’s. We celebrate the Opening Day of Caning season as November 30th.

Q. Who do I cane?
A. Rich people of course. Remember, people give to a vision. Cane friends who can get your vision. Be sure to have a vision behind the fundraising.

Q. How much money can we make?
A. That’s like asking how much Fruity Pebbles can one man eat. As much as you want. Two of the founders of caneventures.com did it for two weeks and made over $3,000. Because of the unique nature of 100 canes in someone’s yard, and their excitement two people donated $1,000 each.

Q. How big are these Candy Canes?
A. Big enough to make your HOA nervous. All of our canes stand approximately 2 feet tall.

Q. How hard is it to stick them in the yard?
A. That depends on if you are a real man or not. It’s actually pretty simple. In our ebook, we describe how you can prevent cane breakage.

Q. Will the canes damage the yard?
A. If your yard is a putting green, yes. Otherwise they leave very little footprint, and give a pretty good aeration. (You may be able to charge extra for the aeration)

Q. How durable are the canes?
A. If you are sword fighting, they won’t work too well. You’ll put your eye out. Otherwise, they are firm, sturdy plastic. Trying to place the canes in the ground that is too hard may cause breakage. Minimize this challenge by displaying them in a different part of the yard.

Q. What if we need to buy more canes during the course of our fundraiser?
A. First of all, these are so inexpensive why not just go ahead and buy extra? If you still run out, we will fulfill another order as quickly as possible.

Q. After our CaneVenture is over, what do we do with all of the canes?
A. Let the last yard be someone you don’t actually like, and just leave them there! Or, if you want to be a good citizen, you can either store them until you do another CaneVenture, or you can sell them to make extra money. As you get closer to Christmas, there is usually a good market for slightly-used canes.

Q. How many canes should we buy for our fundraiser?
A. We have a stock of thousands, you could start there. You can do about three yards a night. Really, if you are raising funds as an individual for maybe a mission or sports trip. Start with one pack of 100. If you are raising funds for an organization, buy enough sets to cover as many yards as you think you can get to in a night. We explain this thoroughly in our Ebook, but if need help deciding how many you need to purchase, please contact us.

Q. How are the orders Shipped?
A. We ship all orders from Texas. You can expect to receive your Canes within 5-10 business days. All orders are shipped within 24 hours except for weekends. If you need a rush order, let us know. We will try to help any way we can.

Q. How does the recipient know what to do when they are Caned?
A. A sign made by the organization (they would receive a template) is also left in the yard informing them they have been Caned (if they did not already know :) ) with instructions to call a phone number to find out who sent them this gift.

Q. How does the conversation normally go with the recipient?
A. When they call, it is normally a very exciting conversation with the end result being instructions on how to pass on this gift, and a request for a donation to the specific organization (or individual) only according to the joy they received from their Caning. In our experience, LOTS of people have lots joy.
